Like any creative team, our factory also needs fresh sources of inspiration. That’s why we’ve recently renewed our Design Spots.
Plan a visit with our sales team to discover design from within Sancal’s facilities. Just wait until after the summer break. Our team deserves a well-earned rest too, before welcoming new creative energy.
Four Stops to Discover Design from the Inside.
Nave 0 and Nave 1 are much more than the places where our furniture is manufactured. They are also the spaces we share every day, where much of life at Sancal unfolds.
Long ago, we realised that design neither begins nor ends with the products in our catalogue. For us, it is not simply an aesthetic exercise, but the expression of a broader philosophy that shapes every aspect of the company.
At Sancal, design is understood as a holistic process that permeates the way we think, work and relate to our surroundings. The values expressed through our collections are the very same ones reflected in our workspaces, showrooms and exhibition stands.

This philosophy gave rise to our Design Spots: four small installations distributed throughout the production areas, bringing finished products closer to the people who make them every day. At the same time, they enrich the experience of everyone visiting our factory in Yecla.
They have recently been refreshed to showcase some of our latest collections alongside long-standing designs that have become part of Sancal’s history, offering a journey through the evolution of the brand.
The project was developed together with Carolina Micó, a multidisciplinary designer who knows Sancal’s philosophy inside out, having once been part of Estudio Sancal herself.
Spot 1. The Power of Graphics. Primary Colours and Simple Shapes.
The first stop is a celebration of colour and geometry. A backdrop of lines, circles and squares frames a selection of designs with a distinctly graphic character, where bold colour contrasts take centre stage.

The installation features a yellow Mini Tortuga chair in Elmo Leather, a Vibe sofa upholstered in Klein blue, a Roll chair in orange Checker fabric by Maharam, and the expressive Faces side table, also finished in blue. Four very different pieces united by a shared visual language.
Spot 2. The Essentials. Timeless Designs That Never Age.
Located within the Occasional Furniture department, this installation is framed by a large green curtain and brings together some of the designs that have become true Sancal classics over the years.

The selection includes Tonella lounge chair and Magnum chair, Tab and Pion stools, the Body cantilever chair and, once again, Roll.
Spot 3. Between Classic and Contemporary. An eclectic spot.
This installation brings together seemingly contrasting references. Warm, domestic forms and natural materials coexist with clean lines, precise geometries and vibrant accents of colour, illustrating the balance between tradition and innovation that defines Sancal’s identity.

A chaise version of Vesta shares the space with an Elle Mini upholstered in Checker, a Canto side table in Malva, a cherry-finished Vestige table and a Totem side table. Together, they show how Sancal continues to evolve while remaining true to its character.
Spot 4. A Tribute to Craftsmanship. A homage to Sancal origins.
Located in the sewing department, the final installation pays tribute to Sancal’s upholstery heritage.

The curtains originally created for our 50th anniversary stand now provide the backdrop to a composition featuring two Canto modules and the collection’s totemic side table. The only decorative elements are spools of thread, celebrating the skill, craftsmanship and dedication of the sewing team, whose manual expertise remains at the heart of every upholstered piece we produce.
One More Stop Along the Way.
The Design Spots have become an integral part of the factory tour. They invite visitors to experience finished products in the very place where they come to life, allowing them to exist beyond the production line and helping imagine their final destination.
Because before reaching a home, a workplace or a hotel, every Sancal piece begins its story here.
