This family of armchairs and lounge chair designed by Rafa García incorporates a more stylised and fashionable version, ideal for a relaxed and casual seating. Its structure is compact, as it is thought for small corners, but also to form part of larger projects as extra seating.
Now, the coquettish Elle Mini armchair reinforces the simplicity of its design by dressing its structure in Maharam’s classic Checker textile.
With its minimalist structure and clean lines, Elle Mini is now dressed in the vibrant geometry of the textile designed by Alexander Girard in 1965. The textile evokes the aesthetics of folk art, while its impeccable tailoring makes it an interesting choice for the upholstery of Sancal’s small lounge chair.
This iconic fabric joins the short list of finishes in which Elle Mini can be upholstered. Furthermore, this list is also expanded with two new colours for the furry textile together with the natural leather.
Its construction is inspired by the popular beach loungers; the tiny Elle is made of only two elements: textile and metal. The seat can be made of a lush furry textile or a warm leather that is stretched around a basic structure of extra-matt lacquered steel.
In addition to being very light, the new version reduces the raw materials to a minimum. The cover can be easily removed and repaired, based on the elementary principles of eco-design.
