In Co Lab, the coexistence of the past and the future is manifested in the harmony of contrasts and the diversity of materials. Brutalist design blends with elements that were once modern in their time. This results in a unique aesthetic that combines retro-futurism with contemporary style. The neutral material palette and pure textures, born from the raw interventions, visible scars of wall movements, and ceiling repairs, contrast with Sancal’s sculptural and warm furniture, as well as the rich textiles that, under the very warm light tones, bring the space to a more inviting visual register.
The result is a space of multiple contrasts and an atmosphere that invites imagination. The combination of the building's essence, Lucas's "inventions," and Sancal’s philosophy (this time as a client, always pushing boundaries) creates a wonderful and perplexing triangle, where contrasts of shapes, textures, and colors coexist in a singular harmony. Every corner of Co Lab reflects the richness of the creative process and the uniqueness of the project.
