September arrives with the year’s second equinox, that fleeting moment when day and night are almost perfectly balanced. Federico Sáez Anchorena translates this astronomical event into an illustration that captures the subtle transition between the brightness of summer and the quiet calm of autumn.
Amid an hourglass and antique navigation instruments sits Duo, the modular seating system designed by Rafa García. Its clean lines and soft forms seem to embody the same principle that defines the equinox: balance. A sense of formal serenity, combined with the flexibility of its modular system, allows Duo to adapt effortlessly to different spaces and ways of living.
Designed to evolve alongside the spaces it inhabits, Duo can be configured into compact, intimate compositions or generous, expansive layouts to suit the needs of each project. Mini is conceived for smaller, more domestic settings, while Maxi extends its proportions to create a stronger presence in larger residential or contract environments. Two interpretations of the same concept, both preserving the collection’s unmistakable identity.
As summer slowly fades and autumn begins to set a new rhythm, Duo accompanies this seasonal transition, inviting us to rediscover our interiors. Like the equinox itself, its design finds harmony in the ability to evolve without ever losing its essence.
