TACTILE LIVING
Paper Collective and Sancal explore tactility in the spaces we inhabit.
During 3daysofdesign 2026 in Copenhagen, Paper Collective and Sancal come together once again to present Tactile Living, a collaborative exhibition exploring the emotional power of the spaces we inhabit through art, objects, and furniture.
At a time when contemporary environments increasingly seek to foster more meaningful human connections, tactility emerges as a powerful tool for shaping our perception of space. Materials, textures, volumes, and forms influence how we feel, interact, and relate to our surroundings.
Building on this idea, both brands have created five immersive settings where artworks, decorative objects, and furniture engage in dialogue, shaping atmospheres that invite pause, conversation, focus, and interaction.
What can you experience during 3daysofdesign?
Throughout the three days, the exhibition will also host workshops, talks, live painting sessions, and designer meet-and-greets, extending the experience far beyond a traditional exhibition format.

Sancal’s New Designs.
As part of Tactile Living, Sancal presents four new proposals for contemporary interiors, accompanied by some of the most representative pieces from its collection. Designs that explore new ways of inhabiting spaces, connecting with others, and experiencing comfort.

PALMA by Marc Morro originates from the evolution of a previous design conceived entirely in metal. While preserving the structural honesty and essential gesture of the original piece, the lounge chair evolves into a warmer, more approachable object, capable of integrating naturally into both residential and shared environments.

MIMOSO by Note (design studio) draws inspiration from the generosity of maximalism and recaptures the enveloping warmth of 1970s and 1980s interiors. Like an oversized XXL duvet casually draped over a solid and robust base, it offers an irresistible comfort experience that embraces the body from the very first contact.

GRADAS by UNS, introduces a new seating typology inspired by the vitality of urban life. Its stepped, multi-level configuration encourages open and spontaneous ways of use, accommodating everything from individual moments of concentration to collective gatherings. A piece that brings the social energy and freedom of public spaces into interior environments.

TWINS by Júlia Esqué, is an exploration of duality translated into furniture. Based on a single structure, the piece adopts two contrasting personalities through the transformative power of textiles. From the architectural restraint of Formal Twin to the theatrical expressiveness of Drama Twin, the collection demonstrates how one design can generate entirely different experiences.
