El buen diseño también se conserva en un tarro.
With her warm strokes and waxy textures, Silvia Tack turns Studiopepe’s Bold tables into a delicious preserve. A perfect metaphor for everything that deserves to be kept: bold ideas, boundless creativity, and the memory of movements that marked milestones in the history of design.
With Bold, the Milan-based studio Studiopepe pays tribute to the Memphis Group, one of the most irreverent and colourful design movements of the 20th century. Their reinterpretation updates those aesthetic codes, geometric volumes, chromatic contrasts, through a contemporary and sophisticated lens.
Designs like Bold remind us that the recent past of design is still alive. That some ideas, like the best preserves, retain their flavour over time.

Homemade Grape Jam
A sweet way to preserve autumn
Ingredients (for 2 medium jars):
- 1 kg of black or red grapes (preferably seedless).
- 400 g of sugar (adjust to taste or replace part with honey).
- Juice of half a lemon.
- A small stick of cinnamon or a pinch of vanilla (optional, but wonderfully autumnal).
Preparation:
1. Wash the grapes thoroughly and remove the stems. If they have seeds, cut them in half and remove them carefully.
2. Place the grapes in a large saucepan with the sugar and lemon juice.
3. Cook over medium heat for about 30–40 minutes, stirring occasionally. The grapes will break down and release their juice, slowly thickening into a syrupy texture.
4. For a smoother finish, pass the mixture through a food mill or blend lightly before jarring.
5. Once it reaches the desired consistency (remember it thickens as it cools), pour it into sterilised jars, seal tightly, and place them upside down until cool.
Tip:
Keep it in the pantry as a small seasonal treasure. Perfect on toast, with fresh cheese, or to sweeten any autumn dessert.
