Luca Nichetto is one of the most renowned international designers. Although he started his career in 1999 working for acclaimed brands like Foscarini, in 2006 he founded his own multidisciplinary design studio in Venice. In 2011, Nichetto opened a second studio in Stockholm, Sweden. His personal take on design is influenced by both cultures; Scandinavian and Italian, being joined by a deep knowledge of craftmanship and industrial processes.
Sancal asked him to take inspiration from the Turati metro station in Milan to create a complete set of products. The end result successfully combines form and function in his first collaboration with the marque.
