Bold table awarded as the best design in the furniture category.
The Archiproducts Design Awards celebrate design excellence. Creativity and innovation, the use of materials and original forms are considered. It also selects products that emphasizes the emotional and functional power of a project
An international jury of architects, designers, journalists and photographers chose the Bold table as one of the winning products in the furniture category. Concept, design and aesthetics were judged alongside the quality and technical complexity of the project.
Studiopepe and Sancal share a particular artistic vision of what design is, as well as research and experimentation are of interest to both firms.
Bold is a contemporary design characterised by being minimalist and eclectic which integrates rigorously a poetic vision and functional design.
Bold Designer’s Edition was the one submitted to these awards. For this version, a vintage finish veneer has been chosen, while the legs can be lacquered in all the colours from our range. With this version, the Milanese studio recalls the recent past of Italian design by paying homage to the Memphis group, one of the most irreverent artistic movements of the second half of the 20th century.
With audacious shapes and XL dimensions, its irregular profile stands out and contrasts with the balanced three basic geometries playing with its different heights (rectangle, circle and triangle). A visual and artistic effect.
Studiopepe and Sancal first joined forces at the Salone when the Italians designed a sophisticated and iconic living room inspired by the Milanese avant-garde, with Milanese Splendour.
We now share this award, which was presented at a ceremony in Milan on November 16th at the spectacular Superstudio space on Via Tortona. An evening that brought together the best of international design and architecture for the eighth edition of these awards!
We also congratulate Chiara and Arianna for receiving the Best Designer of the Year award.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude and thank the jury for recognising this sculptural design.
