February and Bold.

Carnival. The art of identity and disguise.

February arrives with the theatrical spirit of carnival, a time when identity blurs and disguise becomes a means of reinvention. Federico Sáez Anchorena’s illustration represents a prelude to this masquerade.

Masks take center stage alongside different versions of Bold, the table designed by Studiopepe. This family of tables, recognizable for its bold and organic presence, blends naturally into this world of folkloric echoes, where fantasy becomes reality, if only for a day.

True to the spirit of carnivalBold transforms without losing its essence. Its multiple finishes, matte or glossy monochrome surfaces, stained ash wood, or the unmistakable grain of Sotsass veneer… allow for the exploration of different personalities through its three formal variations, as if the design itself were dressing up for the dance.

Bold shows that expression is also built through material, colour, and detail, and that transformation is part of its identity as a language of its own.

“The stillness of winter is broken by an explosion of colour and joy. February is an invitation to wear a mask, dance, and enjoy the sweet anarchy that subverts the established order. Space fills with unusual and folkloric elements for this celebration. An irreverent mise-enscène where creativity is celebrated without restraint, embracing fantasy before the pause.”  Federico Sáez Anchorena.
