In Sancal’s March 2025 calendar illustration, Silvia Tack reinterprets Wrinkled Link by Raw Color. The intertwined shapes of the piece evoke the organic nature of this design, tangling together as if forming part of a living ecosystem, from which strawberries and green leaves sprout.
Wrinkled Link features a cover designed for effortless dressing and undressing of each link, making maintenance easy. Its padded construction creates a distinctive wrinkled effect while adding a plush feel, and it can be customized with a wide range of textiles. This design is based on the interaction of curved shapes, colors, and materials, evolving with every new configuration.
This illustration reminds us that good design, like nature, always finds a way to bloom.

“It is a very simple yet personal memory. I think about my parents and their combination of mashed strawberries, cream, and sugar. It’s simple, sweet, and full of flavor. A crunchy cookie would go well alongside it. For me, flavor is deeply tied to personal experience, as shown by this memory. It brings back such a nice feeling when I remember being a kid and how they would make it for me” shares Christoph with us!

• 250 ml of whipped cream
• Spoons of sugar until it reaches the level of sweetness
