This is exactly what we’ve done with the innovative new biomaterial used to upholster the Wrinkled version of Raw Color’s Link soft seating system.
Crafted by Ohoskin in Italy, this new material is fruit of a groundbreaking process that transforms by-products from oranges and cacti into a sustainable alternative to animal leather. By repurposing waste from the food and cosmetics industries, this material combines organic fibres with recycled biopolymers, all traceable through blockchain technology. Its durability and quality also make it an ideal choice for upholstering products designed to withstand intensive use.
The organic and retro-futuristic lines of Wrinkled Link make it the perfect design to showcase this metallic finish. Not only does it exude sophistication, but it also symbolises the future of design — one that harmonises aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability to meet the needs of a more conscious world.
