Cita is a versatile collection designed to foster interaction and communication in leisure spaces, workplaces, and even homes, creating environments that are both welcoming and flexible.
Its aesthetic is deliberately understated, allowing it to seamlessly integrate into a variety of projects without being overpowered, while still maintaining the unique character of each piece. This balance between subtlety and distinctiveness represents a significant design challenge, as these values are often seen as opposites.
Designed by Note (Design Studio), this collection of benches, a chair and tables are inspired by the very essence of a “cita” (meeting): a gathering place to share moments, from spontaneous conversations to work meetings or leisurely meals.
Now, the Cita family expands with new solutions to enhance experience and offer greater versatility in hospitality settings. Reminiscent of the classic dinner setup, the benches can be arranged back-to-back with the addition of an ash wood divider. This element provides privacy without isolation, allowing micro-spaces to be created within a single architectural setting. It enables a dynamic structuring of areas, delineating spaces without fully compartmentalizing them. Any environment can be transformed into a collection of inviting, functional nooks that strike a balance between interaction and privacy.
Beyond aesthetics and spatial needs, this divider also serves a functional purpose. It can be equipped with integrated kit power sets, facilitating the use of electronic devices.
To optimize space, practical coat hooks have been added to the outer sides of the dividers, offering a discreet yet accessible solution for hanging bags, coats, or other accessories.
