We are committed to extending the life of our products for as long as possible. While repairing a piece may not always be the most economical option, considering the costs of reupholstering, transportation, and high-quality covers or parts, it is undeniably better for the environment. Additionally, we believe that well-crafted objects gain character and value as they age gracefully.
Choosing repair and maintenance contributes to a circular and sustainable economy by reducing the need to manufacture new products and, consequently, the consumption of natural resources. By integrating these values into every stage of our production process, we promote more mindful and environmentally respectful consuption.
If you own a Sancal product that needs repair, we would be delighted to assist you. Please start by contacting us, sancal.com/where, providing as much information as possible, including pictures. Any Sancal reference codes—ideally the serial number found on a sticker at the bottom of your product—will help us quickly confirm its authenticity.
We offer two repair methods:
Factory Repair: Send your piece to our factory in Yecla, Murcia, Spain, where our experts will undertake the necessary repairs.
Local Repair: We can send the required spare parts and covers to a local upholsterer of your choice.
Unfortunately, not every piece can be repaired. If we are unable to assist, we recommend considering repurposing the piece into something new. Only take it to your local recycling facility as a last resort.
